These mars bars are gluten free, vegan friendly, and grain free!

All you need is a food processor to pulse the crust ingredients than the Date Caramel and a double boiler to melt the chocolate.





1/2 cup pecans

1/2 cup cashews

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp hemp or ground flaxseed

1 tbsp water


Date Caramel 

10 pitted dates

1/2 cup almond butter

1/2 tsp sea salt


Chocolate Coat 

1/2 cup hu gems

1/4 cup melted cacao butter

pinch of sea salt



To make the crust pulse all ingredients in a food processor.

Line a 5×5 baking pan with parchment paper & pat down crust ingredients until flat and even. Add to the freezer, whip the food processor and add date caramel ingredients to the food processor.

Pulse date caramel ingredients until smooth and add over the top of the crust layer. Smooth over until even and then freeze again.

Make the chocolate, over a double boiler melt chocolate ingredients and pour over the top of the crust and date layer to create the third layer.

Sprinkle with salt

Freeze for 1 hour then cut into desired size
