Super Green Chlorella Pesto
Chlorella Pesto
This sauce is full of an abundance of nutrients, especially healthy fats. Made with only a few wholesome ingredients, its best smothered over some fresh cooked pasta or sprouted grain toast.
You will need:
1 cup walnuts
3 cloves garlic
1/2 cup cashews (Parmesan substitute)
2 tsp @organicburst chlorella powder
2 handfuls greens(here I used spinach and parsley)
1/4-3/4cup olive oil
To make:
1. In a food processor add 1 cup walnuts, 3 cloves garlic and pulse.
2. Next add cashews and chlorella powder.
3. Then, add greens of choice.
4. Pulse again & add olive oil little by little until desired consistency is reached
I store this pesto sauce in a mason jar & add it to pastas.
Here I added it to eatbanza pasta.
This is honestly the best pasta substitute I’ve tried! It’s made from only chickpeas. I also sprinkled with crushed red pepper flakes & dried oregano.
Organic burst Chlorella is my favorite. I favor the taste preferably over any brand i’ve tried.
