Pecan Pie Bars

Fall is here… Tis the season!

The holidays will be here before we know it.

Turn away the unhealthy temptations by keeping these beauties in your freezer.

Whether its in replace of your kids Halloween candy, a mid-day snack, or bringing them to your Thanksgiving party… these pecan pie bars will always hit the spot. 

Chocolaty, sweet, salty.

You will need:

8 Medjool Dates

1 cup pecans + more for topping

1/2 cup raw almond butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp pink salt

For the Chocolate Sauce

1/2 cup cacao butter

1/2 cup cacao paste

1 tsp coconut sugar, honey, or maple syrup

In a food processor process pecans, dates, almond butter, vanilla, salt.

Line a pan with parchment paper and smear mixture evenly over the top of it.

Melt cacao paste, cacao butter, and sweetener of choice.

Top with more pecans (can also use cacao nibs).

Pour chocolate sauce over the pecan mixture & freeze for 45 minutes
